The United States men’s national soccer team notched one of the most important wins in team history on this day in soccer history when they defeated Colombia 2-1 in the 1994 FIFA World Cup Group A action at the Rose Bowl in Pasedena, California. It was their first win in a FIFA World Cup match since they defeated England in 1950.
